Sales Motivation

So you want to grow your business? A great way to do so is to start a social media campaign. We understand it can be confusing so we have all the elements you’ll need for your small business right here.

How to Get Started

Starting a Social Media CampaignSet Goals

Write down the goal you want to achieve with your social media campaign. Then, make it measurable by assigning it milestones with dates attached. You are defining your goal clearly to make it easier to achieve.

Not sure what to set for your goal? Make it one that lines up with your small business objectives. Then tell your staff about it, so everyone gets on board.

Incorporate Value

Make the campaign beneficial for your followers by adding value. You could incorporate a contest, for example, in which you give away product to the winners. Give your new followers a reason to connect and stay interested in your brand.

Go Where Your Customers Are & Interact With Them

Find out where your target audience is hanging out online and then go there. But avoid marketing to them as they’re savvy and will see exactly what you’re doing. Instead, communicate in an interactive way, posting questions and encouraging them to answer, to include them in the conversation.

Have a Problem-Solving Mentality

Many social media campaigns of small businesses fail because they focus on selling a product rather than solving a problem for their audience. Find out the issues that your niche client is facing and then highlight what you can do to solve it in your social campaign.

Post Regularly

Try to post new content at least once a day on the platforms where your small business has a profile. Create a schedule to stay on track and then when you are consistent, your followers will like that they know what to expect from you. Use tools such as Hootsuite to make regular social media posting a breeze.

Perhaps most importantly, learn as you go what works for your small business and fits well with your target audience. Modify your social media campaign over the weeks to make it more effective.
